The highly versatile LUMii BLACK² 720/960 LED Grow Light comes equipped with a LUMii Black 600W Electronic Ballast, providing everything you need for a complete LED grow lighting setup.

The LUMii Black2 LED grow light boasts an impressive efficacy of approximately 2.9 µmol/J and utilises LED chips with individual efficacies ranging from 3.4 to 3.7 µmol/J. Its maximum photosynthetic photon flux (PPF) output is an impressive 2596 µmol/s when powered at 960W, by adding a second ballast (available separately) with each drawing 480W. In contrast, a typical 1000W high-pressure sodium (HPS) lamp, which consumes 1070W, usually delivers an output of 1550 µmol/s PPF.

This versatile and high-performing LED fixture exemplifies high efficiency within its mid-range category. Its lightweight design, due to the absence of an integral driver, makes installation straightforward. The fixture comprises two interlocking halves, each with its own power input socket, and can be suspended either as a single interlocked 6-bar unit or as two separate 3-bar fixtures. The 6-bar setup is perfectly suited for a growing area of 1.5 m x 1.5 m, while the two separate 3-bar fixtures can accommodate a growing area that is up to 25% larger.

Whether hung independently or interlocked, the two halves can be powered by a single LUMii BLACK 600W Electronic Ballast using the included splitter lead. Alternatively, each half can be operated by its own LUMii BLACK 600W Electronic Ballast. Employing two ballasts can enhance the maximum light output of the fixtures by at least 25%.

A single ballast can be mounted on the 6-bar fixture using the supplied brackets, but if the fixture is hung as separate 3-bar units, or if two ballasts are used, they must be positioned independently. The open design of the fixtures, combined with their exceptionally low heat output, promotes effective airflow and heat management. Producing a full spectrum of light that is ideal for both vegetative growth and flowering, the LUMii BLACK² 720/960 LED is sure to deliver impressive results.

How far away should my LED's be from my plants?

We suggest that you hang your fixture in an adjustable manner, using Rope Ratchets, and position it approximately 30-50cm (with a minimum of 15cm) above the canopy of your plants, adjusting the height as they grow. If the light proves too intense for your plants and you notice signs of stress, consider raising the fixture slightly or selecting a lower power setting on the ballast.
